The Times Crème and DHL • PA of the Year 2006

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Eligibility Criteria

In order to participate in The Times Crème/DHL PA of the Year Award, you must fulfil the following criteria:

(a) You must be either a PA, secretary, executive assistant or have a similar role

(b) You must have been employed in your current role for at least three months

(c) As long as you fit into (b) you can be a permanent, contract or temporary employee

(d) If you make it to the shortlist, you must be prepared to take part in a telephone interview with the judging panel

(e) A representative from your employer – either your immediate boss or a member of human resources or equivalent – should be prepared to discuss your role with a member of the judging panel should you be short listed

2. Entry

You can either enter yourself, or be entered by your employer – e.g., the person to whom you report, or a member of your Human Resources department. All entrants are required to send a CV of no more than two pages which includes an explanation of their current role plus an accompanying document of up to 500 words explaining why they feel they are a worthy winner of The Times Crème/DHL PA of the Year Award.

3. Judges

A panel of three judges has been appointed jointly by DHL and The Times Crème and the judges will select the winner and three runners-up

4. Prizes will be awarded as follows

(a) For the winner, a trip for two to Cape Town, South Africa, including return flights from London to Cape Town, return transfers to and from the hotel, 14 nights accommodation in a four-star hotel in a standard twin/double room with private facilities with breakfast, travel insurance and £500 spending money. Travel valid until December 2006 excluding Christmas, New Year, Easter and Bank Holiday periods. Prize does not include travel to and from airport in the UK. Prize destinations may vary from those advertised.

(b) For the three runners-up, a weekend for two to Barcelona including return flights from London to Barcelona, flight transfers, 2 nights accommodation at the four-star hotel in a twin/double room on a bed and breakfast basis, including travel insurance. Travel valid until December 2006 excluding Christmas, New Year, Easter and Bank Holiday periods. Prize does not include travel to and from airport in the UK. Prize destinations may vary from those advertised. No cash alternative.

5. Publicity

It is a condition of entry that all entrants agree to take part in reasonable publicity concerning The Times Crème/DHL PA of the Year Award. This includes an interview by a Crème representative for a profile feature for the four finalists plus a feature interview for the winner.

6. Miscellaneous

(a) You must be aged 18 or over

(b) You must not be an employee or agent of either DHL nor an employee of News International Limited

(c) The decision of the judges will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

(d) It is the sole responsibility of all entrants to provide relevant information to support their entry and all completed entries will become the properties of TNL and will not be returned

(e) All entries must be in English and must be received by no later than 31 March 2006. Neither DHL nor Times Newspapers Limited accept any liability whatsoever for any entry which is lost, delayed or misdirected.

(f) Details of entrants will not be passed on to any third party without first obtaining the permission of the appropriate entrant. However, this is subject to the finalist agreeing to undertake reasonable promotional activity associated with The Times Crème PA of the Year Award

(g) No alternative to the prizes specified above will be offered. Prizes must be taken during 2006. Prizes are subject to availability.

(h) Details of all the winners will be published in The Times Crème and on the website
